So this summer I'll be working at the Jonathan Beach Club
[again]
but also at Velvet Hammer (System of a Down's Label)/Streetwise (promotion/marketing company owned by the same awesome dude David "Beno" Benveniste aka THE boss)
I'm interning for Liz Sosey (Beno's assistant) so I'm her if she's ever out of the office
I'm really pumped for 3DTs new CD to come out, they're really improving and becoming a very awesome band
I'm helping them with their band shit while I'm out here for the summer
Their show at Hogue's was sweet.. it was a lot of fun especially since a ton of people went
today I'm going to their practice to hang out and see how they're doing
I feel like I'm finally being proactive in what I want to do in the future
and it's fucking awesome

Velvet Hammer is super chill too
I get my own desk, there are dogs running around
and I get to work with really cool people
Jonathan Club...well it's the same pretty much
but Mimi, Chris and Dunn are all working w/ me and soon Nelson will too hopefully!
how funny is that hahah

im ready for this crazyy ass summer and hope I don't get burnt out
working 6 days a week

I don't remember how to make links for long entries...because I haven't used this in a long time hahaha...

So I haven't written that much in a long time and I'm bored now so I guess I will try

I've been looking for a place to live and since my friends here have parents who do everything
for them I can't live with them since they are always living on campus
it's pretty frustrating because it makes me realize that
i only hang out w/ a handful of people when i know so many more really cool people
that i would love to get to know
I feel like my friends here are missing out on what it's like to be growing up in college
missing out on being an adult (which isn't ALWAYS a good thing but important anyway)
they're not gonna know anything about leases or finding apartments until they're seniors
and I've known all about them since my sophomore year
Sometimes I wish I could have things handed to me by my parents like them
but I'm glad I know how to be somewhat independent
I say somewhat because my parents pay for most my rent
while I pay for part and for all my food and living expenses with the 2 jobs I have
I feel like I'm straddling between my own independence and being dependent and I hate it
because I feel like I don't have parents most of the time but I'm still restricted to what
they want me to do with certain things because I am financially dependent on them
it's a weird situation i think...
i miss my parents it's weird
being in college and across the country
i don't get to talk to them much
i miss my friends from home but i'm excited for summer

i don't get certain girls and their weird behavior towards boys..
this i won't expand on much well because i don't want to haha
i think girls who wait on boys are insecure and need to find something else to do with their time
and girls who become obsessed with boys--who don't want the same things
and make it EXTREMELY obvious--are just sad
find time for yourself...make yourself happy...and don't change for anyone
OH and by the way just randomly thinking out loud...I think girls who meet people
for the first time (usually at parties)
and are like "OMFG BFFFFFFF FOREVERRRRR ILY<33!!" the next day are fucking stupid

i'm over boston and school
i just wana be on break, find a cool job over the summer and have fun with my best friends
i miss driving and being tan and wearing flip flops everyday
and the overall carefree laid back lifestyle

i've been playing piano a lot more these days and it's awesome
i miss hearing the boys play and having our group singalongs

spring break was good...did nothing mostly but it was a good break from doing
EVERYTHING during the school week
i met zack's little sister too so that was cool...meeting his family in general is fun
i saw bestfriend too! <3 it was a lot of fun catching up
hanging out and shopping and chillen at brown
i missed her a lot so it was really good hanging out
she might come on saturday too yayyy this weekends gona be fun
i think im seeing a show tonight FINALLY first show ive seen here besides the BSO
since ive been at northeastern!! (so sad)

i can't wait til april...semester will be over and done with and i can just

basically walked everywhere
then in boston we hung out

but being at home didnt feel like being at home at first
now its starting to though and im getting really happy
i think because alexys's bday is usually my starting point of summer
today i jumped an apartment gate so we can get into the pool
it reminded me of junior year a lot and it was really fun
i like that mimi is slowly entering our circle of friends
because when we go back to northeastern
we can talk about summer w/o me having to explain everything/everyone to her

im really excited for 3DT because they get to go to florida
and record their CD for about 2 months or so
it should be amazing when theyre done and then they tour
im really happy that they are finally getting to do what they
have been waiting for
and sad at the same time because i only get to hang out w/ them for about a month
its okay i know i'll be seeing them in boston

this saturday is alexys's bday party so im super stoked for that
im still trying to figure out how to get my car back

i'm interning for orange house records this summer
andy asked me to intern for him
to exclusively work with 3dt
book tours, promote, work on website things, etc.
i super stoked and i feel overwhelmed
cuz im 18 and i get to do what i wana do for the rest of my life

and he said if it goes well theyre prepared to offer me
a permanent paying position

summer's already officially started

this weekend was really fun
alexys and alissa came to visit on friday and left this morning
on friday we went to Mimi's brothers house at tufts
babysat tango and played several games of pong
it was only like 6 of us but it was chill and funny
we ordered pizza and that was hilarious
i kept asking if they could do 1/3 hawaiian, pepperoni and cheese
but i dont think they understood what i was saying so i just said
half pepperoni half hawaiian lol
then alissa hooked up with mark and we were makin fun of her
the whole weekend it was great

saturday we went to BC with fred and 2 of his friends
that was so funnnn
we got in trouble for crossing the train tracks
we tried really hard not to laugh
we met up with michael shea
stayed at his friends dorm for a while
they were all really cool and nice
then we went to a house party
and then took a LIMO back to northeastern hahaha
but i left my key at BC so we just crashed at fred&jakes
alissa didnt bring her ID so she went with sean back to his dorm

it started snowing the morning so that was awesome
i got sickk though so i slept from 10am-4pm and then slept for another hour at 7
bahhh idk if im gona go to class tomorrow i still feel shitty
not AS shitty though

but anyway last night worked out really well haha
